And all our other stalls too, shopping with social distancing in mind all the time.

8.00am till 12.30pm

Pine mushrooms, Greek delicacies, plus much more!

Stunning morning here! Still, sunny, just perfect.😁

Just look at these Fresh pine mushrooms Brent and Courtney have at the Coffee Stall. Not just gorgeous to look at, but tasty, keep their shape, great in stews and casseroles.

Dora and Bona at H Kouzina Mas have Cabbage Rolls, this great looking Spinach & Cheese Pie (great tasting too), plus their other range of sweet and savoury Greek delicacies.

Social distancing restrictions are still in place, so please continue to follow them as you all have been doing so well.

Virgara’s Garden has freshly pressed extra virgin Olive Oil

Francesco at Virgara’s Garden has their freshly pressed extra virgin Olive Oil back at tomorrow’s market.

Other stallholders will be Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, From the Grain, Feather & Peck, Con and Harry, Anna’s Homestyle Baking, Lilyarra Cheeses, Chocolique, H Kouzina Mas, VICTORFISH, Strout Farm, the Coffee Stall including Fleurieu Milk And Yoghurt Company, Garden candy, and Kangaroo Island Living Honey will be with us again this week.

The small lifting in Covid-19 restrictions in SA at this stage haven’t affected the restrictions we’ve had in place at the market for some weeks.

So it’s still, shop & go, single shoppers preferred, no families.

Select your produce with a bag, if you touch it, you buy it.

Social distancing of 1.5m is still very important. It’s easy to feel more relaxed now, but we need to still maintain these restrictions.

If you meet friends and want to chat, please move out of the market area to do so to allow freedom of movement. We’ve come so far, and done so well, to have the market closed down now, or a lot of people and the market fined would be devastating. And of course Covid-19 hasn’t gone away.

8.00am till 12.30pm tomorrow morning.

Con and Harry are back & orange is the new colour!

Orange is the new colour at the market! Con and Harry are back with mandarins, Navel oranges and persimmons, plus all their other fantastic range of fruit and veg. Great to see their smiling faces, please remember, one person per couple at their stall, pick up the produce by a bag, if you touch it you buy it.

Gorgeous chrysanthemums at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, poppies at the Coffee Stall.

So many other terrific choices for Mother’s Day presents, all made or grown with love 💕.

Nothing came from yesterday’s announcements that changes our Covid-19 Social distancing restrictions that have been in place for weeks now. Thank you for continuing to observe them.

8.00am till 12.30pm.

VHFM is on this morning with lots of goodies!

Just a tad chilly, quite pleasant really.

Kate is back at Chocolique, some great ideas for Mother’s Day next Sunday.

Dora and Bona have a great range of sweet and savoury at H Kouzina Mas.

Gala, Pink lady, Grannies and Fuji apples at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, and Gerard has his semi hard goats cheese at Lilyarra Cheeses, plus the delicious soft cheeses.

Social distancing restrictions continue to be in place.

Shop and go, single shoppers please, no families. If you touch fresh produce you buy it.

8.00am till 12.30pm

Covid-19 restrictions continue to apply. Single shoppers are preferred, no families.

Maintain social distancing of 1.5m, shop and go. When selecting produce use a bag. If you touch it without a bag you buy it. The stallholders will select the produce for you if you prefer.

Thank you for your continued support of our market, helping us to continue to trade during this difficult time, keeping you supplied with the fresh produce you have enjoyed being able to buy for over 11 years every Saturday morning.

8.00am till 12.30pm

VHFM – We’re back again tomorrow, a cool one.

We’re back again tomorrow, a cool one, maybe a spot of rain.

Please keep doing what you have been doing so well, shop and go, maintaining the 1.5m social distancing. No families, single shoppers preferred.
If there are couples, one only at a stall at a time. Queue at stalls to keep up the social distancing. Pick up produce by a bag, if you touch it you buy it. If you prefer, ask the stallholders to pick it up for you.

All the Farmers Markets that are operating in SA are doing so under these very clear directions, it allows us to still bring our produce to you as safely as possible for you, our members and customers, and for our stallholders in this Coronavirus lockdown period.

There’ll be plenty fresh produce @Saturday’s market

There will be plenty of fresh produce for you at tomorrow’s market.

Virgara’s Garden, Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, Con and Harry and the Coffee Club all have fresh veggies and fruit.

Please, don’t crowd the stalls, keep 1.5m apart. Only pick up what you are going to buy, and do that with a bag. This is so important.

Albert at From the Grain will select your bread for you. Neil’s seafood at VICTORFISH is very safe, but again, please queue behind the counter staying 1.5m apart. The same goes for Chocolique , Anna’s Homestyle Baking, Feather & Peck and Lilyarra Cheeses.

We are out in the Fresh air, but we must still practice social distancing, not shake hands, cough or sneeze into our elbows, and of course, not be there if feeling unwell.

Apart from all that we should have a good morning!

What’s New?
VHFM this Saturday

So last week we said our goodbye to Monika and Gunter with a card and some goodies.

This week we welcome Shane Brown from Feather & Peck with their fantastic free range eggs.

And also the excellent news that Brent and Courtney at Jelly will be selling the full range of Fleurieu Milk Company products that Monika had carried, and in Monika’s fridge! Look for it over at the red and white striped gazebo where you buy that most important very delicious coffee each week.

And I want to know if that more than 3kg swede that Ian from Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries is coming to the market to be sold, or will be going into Gina’s famous pasties!
