It’s that time of year again. Matt tells me the strawberries are coming in thick and fast today. So he and Gina will be busy tomorrow at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries. You know their’s are going to be juicy, sweet and delicious. I remember one night standing with the fridge door open and just eating a whole punnet, they were soooo good. Hope John doesn’t read this.

No Chocolique tomorrow, bit of a blow. Kate knew there was no point me buying extra last week to cover this week. Or suggesting John hiding it. I have a Bloodhound nose for Chocolique chocolate.

Healing Harvest Farm will be back with their beautiful eggs. Sarah was a big hit last week.

So good to have Con and Harry Fresh Fruit back. People were in tears at seeing them again. I think that’s the kind of thing that makes our market so special.

Tomorrow our other stallholders will be Health by Flora, Virgara’s Garden, H Kouzina Mas, Garden candy, Jelly.PortElliot, including Fleurieu Milk Company products, Anna’s Homestyle Baking, Hey Bagels, VICTORFISH, Calico Cakes and Kangaroo Island Living Honey.

Health by Flora will be back on Saturday. Olivia and Kate will have these fabulous breakfast pots that were missed so much last week.

Second Saturday of the month, so Shawn from Kangaroo Island Living Honey will be with us.

Welcome to Sarah, Healing Harvest Farm on this perfect morning at the market. Sun shining, barley a whisper of a breeze. Her eggs certainly look great.

Kate’s chocolate at Chocolique is, as ever, looking delicious. She won’t be here next week, so stock up today to get you through!

Brent and Courtney at Jelly; Port Elliot have these gorgeous Bird of Paradise flowers, as well as other beauties. Coffee is hot and ready too.

Garry Searle is about to start the live music, and it is just so good to look over and see Con and Harry all set up and so busy already.

You really need to come down today, it’s going to be a a terrific market.

Tomorrow is going to be such a great day. We’ll be welcoming Andrew and Sarah, Healing Harvest Farm with their fantastic pasture raised eggs to our market. Let’s hope they’ll love us, as much as I’m sure we’ll love them.

And then of course Con and Harry will be back with us after six long months. We have missed them so much, it will be such a joy to see those smiling faces, and all that fantastic produce again.

I don’t think the hail this week would have been very kind to Matt and Gina’s strawberries. Maybe next week’s sun might start helping them. Plenty of other goodies at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries though.

In breaking news, we have a new stallholder starting this weekend.

Healing Harvest Farm will be selling their pasture raised eggs weekly at the market from this Saturday.

They mainly sell XL 700gm, but also have some Jumbos, Large and half dozens.
