It’s a beautiful morning, not as cold as I was expecting.

De at Calico Cakes is having a knee Op during the week, and will be off for a number of weeks, so you’d better stock up on her fantastic range of fruit cakes and sticky date puddings, she’s not sure when she’ll be back. We all wish De good luck with the surgery and a speedy recovery.

Ashley is on the BBQ at Mrs Clucks, breakfast smells very good.

Courtney is on the Coffee at Jelly. Port Elliot.

Minka is here from Kimchi Club with her range of fermented products, and Alex de Rosa is just setting up to start some great music.

Matt from Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries pointed out their very professional new sign listing their fantastic range of products at last week’s market.

He also had me laughing so much I couldn’t stop by wishing me Happy Christmas instead of Easter and not realising it very early in the morning. He’d had a busy week, and apparently I sound a bit like a chook cackling.

 I shall try for more decorum tomorrow.

Con and Harry Fresh Fruit have two weeks off for Greek Easter, and Hey Bagels will also be absent tomorrow.

Minka from Kimchi Club is back with us, fourth Saturday of the month, so you’ll be able to restock her great fermented products. Those fermented horseradish almonds were something special I thought.
