We may be small, but we do have such a great variety of produce to offer.

One of the many things I love about our market is that we may be small, but we do have such a great variety of produce to offer.

Francesco from Virgara’s Garden has these amazing Fibonacci like Romanesco broccoli, and all manner of other fantastic veg.

Kate at Chocolique has these chocolate stirrers to take home, or have tomorrow, Cardamon chocolate, Lavender chocolate, just so many flavours and shapes to explore.

What other market has fish as good as Neil at VICTORFISH?

One stall that has crisp apples, onions, jams, chutneys, cordials, almond bread, cream puffs, pasties and other great savoury pies and spelt products? And sweets crumble tarts, vanilla slices, gingerbread biscuits, and all the other things I’ve forgotten that Gina and Matt have at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries?

A coffee stall that also has lamb shank pies, amongst others, Swiss and freshly picked pine mushrooms, soup to take home and Fleurieu Milk Company products, like Jelly. Port Elliot?

And tomorrow we’ll have the Basket Range Baker, all that beautiful sourdough bread, cinnamon scrolls etc, Shawn from Kangaroo Island Living Honey, and of course Anna’s Homestyle Baking and H Kouzina Mas. Studio Goolwa will also be with us, and as I mentioned earlier, our new stallholder, Health by Flora.

Garry Searle is our musician tomorrow, looking forward to that, haven’t seen Garry for a while.

8.00am till 12.30pm, weather is looking good.

New stallholder starting tomorrow, very exciting! Olivia and Kate of Health by Flora!

New stallholder starting tomorrow, very exciting!

Health by Flora, Olivia and Kate are two local young woman working to improve gut health with their products.

Pictured are a couple of their fermented juices they call ‘Rocket Fuel’, they’ll have coconut kefir and all sorts of other fermented goodies, so definitely stop and say hello and see what they have tomorrow.

They’ll be coming weekly.

Another post soon with the update on tomorrow’s stallholders. Weather is looking good.

FACES of the MARKET … Our faces last week were Adam, Lizzie and River!

Faces of the Market

Dave, Lizzie and River shopping early in the cold this morning.
#vhfm  #saturdaymorning  #victorharbor  #farmersmarket

I obviously got Adam’s name wrong, I am sorry. If I don’t do the post immediately or write the names down my foggy brain can play games on me.

I remember saying the three names over and over in my head, I’m not sure at what point Adam became Dave.

Hope to see you at the market – lots happening this Saturday!

Lots happening in Victor Harbor tomorrow.

Make sure you get your produce shopping done at our market before, during or after you head off to the Victor Harbor Artisan Market or the Whale Welcoming.

Brent at Jelly. Port Elliot has heaps of perfect Pine Mushrooms, and Swiss Browns. And as well as his normal produce, including the Fleurieu Milk Company products he’ll be carrying a range of things from Francesco, Virgara’s Garden, who is having the weekend off.

Con and Harry Fresh Fruit are 2-3 weeks away, Harry is coming on well, just needs more time.

Our other stallholders will be Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, remember they have a good range of veg too.

H Kouzina Mas, Chocolique, Anna’s Homestyle Baking,  the Basket Range Baker and VICTORFISH .

Our musician will be GENE PHOA.

8.00am till 12.30pm, big day!

Plenty of great food to bring you out to the market Sat morning 8am-12.30pm

Plenty of great food to bring you out to the market 8am – 123.pm!

Brent at Jelly. Port Elliot has freshly picked Pine mushrooms, they have such a great taste. Plus his usual range, Fleurieu Milk Company products and he’s still carrying eggs.

The Basket Range Baker is back, first Saturday of the month. Felicity tells me they have new Cinnamon scrolls, and their croissants are just to die for. Last time they were with us I bought one of those knotty pieces in the photo, started with an F, still can’t remember the name. I ate the whole that morning, it was so good.

Kate at Chocolique is back from the sick list, thank heavens.

Still on the sick list is Harry I’m afraid, so no Con and Harry Fresh Fruit again, and Kate and Dave from Hey Bagels are off gallivanting for a few weeks.

So our other Stallholders will be Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, H Kouzina Mas, Virgara’s Garden, Anna’s Homestyle Baking and VICTORFISH.

Our musician will be Dean Bird.

8.00am till 12.30pm, rug up well.

Fantastic range of apples at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, definitely worth checking out!

Bit chilly this morning!

The range of apples at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries is fantastic. The Royal Galas are my favourite, sooooo sweet. Definitely worth checking out.

Great to have VICTORFISH back again, come and see what seafood delights Neil has today.

Remember Brent at Jelly. Port Elliot has eggs, get in early for them.

And Minka is here, Kimchi Club, stock up on her great fermented products.

Minka from Kimchi Club is with us, yay, fermented Horseradish Almonds again!

Hopefully the rain will stay away till the afternoon tomorrow, that’s the forecast.

Minka from Kimchi Club is with us, yay, fermented Horseradish Almonds again.

Neil from VICTORFISH is back, great news.

Unfortunately still on the sick list is Harry, so no Con and Harry Fresh Fruit again, and joining them tomorrow is Kate from Chocolique, get well soon Kate.

Our other stallholders tomorrow are Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, H Kouzina Mas, Virgara’s Garden, Anna’s Homestyle Baking and Hey Bagels. Jelly. Port Elliot will be carrying eggs again, as well as Fleurieu Milk Company products. Brent can’t carry a large number of eggs, they aren’t available and he doesn’t have room, he sold out quickly last week, so you need to get in early if you want them.

Our Musician will be GENE PHOA.

8.00am to 12.30pm, rug up, it’s going to be chilly.
