How often do you get to meet the person who made your food?
The eggs came from a farm. The vegetables had a season to follow. The bread started with someone’s hands, the chocolate with an idea, and many of the recipes you’ll find around the market have been made, tested and refined over time.
At a farmers market, those stories aren’t hidden behind packaging or a supermarket shelf. The person who grew it, baked it, sourced it, made it or created it is often standing right there.
You can ask them a question. Find out how something was made and even learn what is in season or discover the best way to cook it. And we think that’s pretty special.
