The rain has eased off, it is a bit cool, but there is still plenty on offer for you here at the market this morning.

Flowers at Jelly.PortElliot, Savoury pastries at H Kouzina Mas, all sorts of fermented goodies at Health by Flora to get your gut into shape.

And Chocolique have just the thing for Mother’s Day (if you can keep your sticky fingers off them until then, wouldn’t work for me!)

So brave the cold, lots to buy!

Chocolique will have their sooooo yummy truffles at tomorrow’s market, that’s me fixed with Chocolate for the weekend.

Bona is whipping up Ricotta gnocchi as I write, so a visit to H Kouzina Mas is necessary. Plus all their usual sweet and savoury Greek delights.

Kate and Olivia at Health by Flora have your gut sorted with their Kefir, return the cleaned bottles for refills.

De at Calico Cakes has ANZAC biscuits, and tastings of some of her many different cakes, definitely worth checking out.

Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries jams and other condiments are very good, along with their big fruit and veg range at the moment.

Healing Harvest Farm eggs are so good, and Sarah won’t be here next week, so stock up.

And Jill at Studio Goolwa is feeling the cold? Looking surprised?

Such a beautiful morning! No wind, still a touch of fog around and a bit chilly, but perfect really.

Brent and Courtney at Jelly.PortElliot have new season Quinces, Ruby Grapefruit, and these tasty Swiss brown, button and medium open mushrooms. Lots of possibilities with them, soup, stir fry, casseroles, you could stuff the medium opens. Coffee of course from them too.

And that amazing floral concoction is from Chocolique. Kate tells me it’s an Orange Dark Chocolate drop, with candied orange and edible flowers on top.

So many other great things to try and buy.

Unique Cheeses are here, Barb decided yesterday to come, and forgot to tell me, so cheese, yes please.

A bit chilly, but the wind and rain look like behaving themselves after last night’s wild weather.

Garry Searle’s on the tunes, always popular, coffee is hot, Brant will have his pies, pasties and sausage rolls hot pretty soon, Toasties available from Bona and Angie at H Kouzina Mas, Breakfast Buns at the Basket Range Baker.

We’ll see you very soon.

You know the weather is getting much cooler when Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries has Gina’s delicious soups, Pumpkin and the thickest of veggies for take away meals. And Matt tells me they have plenty of apples, tomatoes, butternuts, carrots, spinach, rhubarb, beetroot, turnips, radishes and those huge brown onions.

Also the weather for sourdough bread. The Basket Range Baker will be there, bread of all sorts, morning buns, almond croissants if you are quick.

Minka from Kimchi Club is coming for an extra week, she’ll be in her usual position, and Unique Cheeses liked where they were so much last week they are going to stay in Hey Bagels spot while Kate and Dave are off on their travels.

De is on the sick list, so no Calico Cakes tomorrow.

So De, our market Chairperson, manager and baking up a storm owner of Calico Cakes didn’t go the full Easter Bunny outfit, just the ears.

She did make these fantastic cupcakes, and does have some tiny Easter eggs for the little ones.

Yes it’s a bit chilly, but I think the rain has passed?

We have the perfect mix of wine and cheese tasting next to each other this morning. 

Barb and Bianca at Unique Cheeses will certainly tempt your taste buds with their carefully selected range of truly delicious cheeses, I have too many favourites to suggest one. And Jodie, George’s Folly Wines, next door, will complement their cheeses with her fine wines.

Then the next stall along that row is Minka, Kimchi Club, with her fabulous range of fermented products, and today you can buy her delicious and healthy Bibimbowls, freshly prepared if you are feeling hungry. Then of course there is Neil at VICTORFISH, for your seafood.

At the other end of the market, Sarah at Healing Harvest Farm has a very good supply of those amazing eggs (chook, not chocolate), and Olivia and Kate are back at Health by Flora for all your gut health products.

Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries have great produce, including strawberries, and some of the biggest brown onions I’ve ever seen! French Onion Soup perhaps.
