Summer is absolutely showing off this weekend — and the market is your best excuse to get out early before everything melts.

Come see us at the Victor Harbor Farmers Market this Saturday 24 January from 8:00am to 12:30pm.

With temperatures heading for 40 degrees it’s very much a “set the alarm, grab a hat and be home before lunchtime” kind of morning

Whether you’re a seasoned market wanderer or finally checking it out for the first time, it’s an easy, relaxed way to start the day — coffee in hand, shopping bag at the ready (good luck sticking to your list!

Joining us this week:

LardAss Butter — rich, slow-cultured butter made from cream sourced from grass-fed cows. Warning: once you try it, normal butter may never emotionally satisfy you again

Koda’s Kitchen — handmade dog treats, because your dog definitely knows when you’ve been to the market without them.

A market morning is one of life’s simple joys — fresh food, great smells, and a relaxed start to the weekend… self-control not guaranteed!

Please join us at the Victor Harbor Farmers Market this Saturday, 17 January, from 8:00am to 12:30pm.

If it’s your first visit, feel free to take your time — it’s a relaxed, family-friendly market where you can browse, grab a coffee and enjoy the morning at your own pace.

You’ll find fresh fruit and vegetables, beautiful bread, eggs, plants, and quality beef and fish — alongside plenty of treats and ready-to-eat favourites too.

Think:

Freshly baked bread
Coffee to kick-start the morning
Raw cacao treats
Jams and pantry goodies
Baked goods you didn’t plan on buying (but will)
Plants to take home and enjoy

A little update for our fruit cake and pudding lovers – De from Calico Cakes.

A little update for our fruit cake & pudding lovers.

Calico Cakes, run by the lovely De, won’t be with us at the market for a little while as she takes a short break from stall trading. De is well known for her beautiful handmade fruit cakes and puddings, and while we’ll miss seeing her behind the stall, she’ll still be taking orders during this time.

If you’d like to place an order, order forms will be available with Deb from Memberships at the market. This is a great way to continue supporting De and make sure you don’t miss out on her delicious fruit cakes and puddings.

De is also still very much involved as Market Manager, and will be popping in as a visitor from time to time to say hello — so keep an eye out for her around the market.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Calico Cakes back to the stalls when the time is right, and thank you all for your understanding and continued support.

Christmas is done, the rush has passed, and it’s time to slow things down as we head toward the New Year

Please join us at the Victor Harbor Farmers Market on Saturday 27 December, 8:00am to 12:30pm.

If you’re keen for a relaxed Saturday morning — a quiet wander, a friendly chat and an easy start to the day — this is a lovely little market to pop into.

Many of our regular stallholders are taking a well-earned week off to rest and recharge after a busy Christmas season.

As a result, this week’s market will be smaller and more low-key, with a handful of familiar faces still joining us.

If you’re not in the festive mood yet, don’t worry… our stallholders will fix that in about five minutes.

VICTOR HARBOR FARMERS MARKET Saturday 22nd November 8am-12.30pm.

We are very excited about our NEWEST STALLHOLDER – Salt Daisy! Libby grows flowers, so you don’t have to!

Spray-free, seasonal goodness, a slow grow tiny flower family farm inspired by wildflowers and rambling cottage gardens.

This week we also have Pacific Oyster Co. back with their deliciously fresh oysters, and DuraFungi with their finest exotic mushrooms.

Plus, “not to miss” – two of our more recently added weekly stallholders growing in popularity – Gus & Jess from Fidock Farm, and Anika & Hector from ‘Seven Flowers: Alchemy & Cacao’!

Lastly, a reminder that Chocolique cannot be with us this Saturday. Likewise, Hey Baker Middleton is still away, but back next week!
