Really looking forward to being back at the market on Saturday, it seems like ages but it will only have been 11 days!

And the new season produce is looking good for the first market in 2021. Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries has carrots picked and washed this week, they should be very tasty.

Francesco at Virgara’s Garden will have peas, a “taste of summer” he calls them.

And really excellent news, the mild weather means Kate and Charlie from Chocolique will be at Saturday’s market. So no withdrawal symptoms just yet

From 4.00pm till 7.00pm this evening you’ll be able to get all your Christmas food shopping sorted. Plus those pesky last minute, hard to buy for presents in a relaxing, friendly environment, some nice classical guitar playing, coffee in hand.

You can have take away dinner from Atomic Food, or one of the amazing range of pies Brent & Courtney have been cooking up at Jelly: Pt Elliot. Brent will also have the usual Fleurieu Milk Company range.

I’ll definitely be going to Chocolique to finish my Christmas shopping. Fantastic range of choices.

Dora and Bona will have these packs of Greek biscuits at H Kouzina Mas, plus all sorts of other goodies.

Neil will have prawns again at VICTORFISH, Gina and Matt cherries, strawberries and raspberries, but you better get to Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries quickly! Anna’s Homestyle Baking will have all sorts of delicious delicacies, Feather & Peck are really hoping to make it.

Virgara’s Garden will be there, Healthy Sparkle Nutritious Delights, Lilyarra Artisan Cheeses, Inman Valley Poultry, De for your last minute Christmas Cakes and puddings at Calico Cakes and finally Mark at Garden candy, Herbs, veggie seedlings and succulents are great Christmas presents.

John and I will be on the Membership stand for anyone wanting to join or renew their membership.

Atomic Food looks a bit different today, no caravan! But Manu and her husband will be cooking breakfasts for us from the Gazebo this morning.

Unfortunately Albert at From the Grain won’t be able to bring any of his cherries down to our market this year. His property is in a Fruit fly exclusion zone.

Maggie O’Moore will be singing soon, coffee is hot, lots of people here already.

Going to be a hot one tomorrow, so come early if you want your Chocolique fix. Kate will stay as long as she can, but hot weather + chocolate = melt!

Cherries at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, plus strawberries, raspberries and all sorts of other yum!

Anna’s Homestyle Baking will have these new Kataifi nests, plus lots of other goodies.

Con and Harry have their avocados as usual, plus sooo much else.

Change of name for the Coffee Stall, now called Jelly: Port Elliot, still featuring baked good, KI Honey, Fresh Produce, Coffee, Preserves & Fleurieu Milk Company products.

De from Calico Cakes is prepared for the weather! Which has been a bit dodgy already this morning! Surprisingly still at the moment!

And Gill at Southern Fleurieu Flora has her closing down sale on, so don’t forget to grab a bargain there.

Coffee is hot, Heath is cooking in the Atomic Food caravan, see you soon.

With the weather vagaries this is a good weekend to buy chocolate from Chocolique if you are thinking of that as a present?
