If you’re keen for a relaxed Saturday morning — a quiet wander, a friendly chat and an easy start to the day — this is a lovely little market to pop into.

Many of our regular stallholders are taking a well-earned week off to rest and recharge after a busy Christmas season.

As a result, this week’s market will be smaller and more low-key, with a handful of familiar faces still joining us.

The entertainment this week is the wonderful versatile JERRY SALVADORE!

Victor Harbor Farmers Market Saturday 1st November 8am-12.30pm.

VICTORFISH will be at the market with their usual range of fish fillets for locals to enjoy. They currently have in stock Orange Roughy (deep sea perch), which are caught over the Continental Shelf and only seasonally available. Orange Roughy is a white moist flesh fish with a mild taste. VICTORFISH also will have Hake (butterfish), a mild flavoured deep sea South Atlantic fish related to Blue Grenadier. Slightly oily and very economical.

• Peter & Sophie are back with all the freshest from Riverland Fruit & Veg – Roadside Stall.

• Kath from Koda’s Kitchen is here this week with yummy treats for our four-legged friends!

• Bona, H Kouzina Mas is back with her amazing authentic homemade Greek dishes.
• We have Chocolique back too, with all their wonderful goodies. Plus Dubai bars, almond crunch bars and butter ganache truffles.

• Stock up on all your sourdough baked goods from Hey Baker Middleton as they are then away until the 29th November.
  
• Another calendar update …  instead of the “1st Sat of the month”, this Nov & December Amelie “The Petite Baker” will be available on the 2nd Saturday of each month. So, look for her next week!

So excited, we have another brand NEW STALLHOLDER! Gus and Jess of Fidock Farm will be here every week with organically grown seasonal veggies. They grow everything on a small scale farm in Goolwa North using mainly hand tools. All veg displayed in wooden crates and depending upon the weather, will offer … Mixed Lettuce, Carrots, Radish, Zucchini, Herbs, Pak Choi, Silverbeet, Spinach.

Last Saturday was the debut of a new weekly stallholder, “SEVEN FLOWERS: ALCHEMY & CACAO”. Anika and Nestor will once again be sharing their Mexican heritage with ceremonial-grade cacao and yummy nutritional cacao nibs. Please stop by to welcome them!

Being the 2nd Saturday of the month LardAss Butter is back, and Adela will be offering her handcrafted cultured butter made using cream from grass-fed cows. Tastings are free!

Plus, Shawn from Kangaroo Island Living Honey with their certified raw organic honey and lots of other beeeeautiful bee products from their family owned and operated bee farm!
