We’re looking at a very good Victor Harbor Farmers Market tomorrow, hope to see you!

We’re looking at a pretty good market tomorrow I think.

Health by Flora will be back, so plenty of gut goodness from Kate and Olivia.

Minka at Kimchi Club will be serving these Kimchi club Bibimbowls, a takeaway chicken or tofu bowl, I’ll describe them more tomorrow, or you can check them out with Minka.

Shawn, Kangaroo Island Living Honey will be with us, and Jodie from George’s Folly Wines is squeezing in an extra week.

Bona and Angie at H Kouzina Mas will have their usual range of amazing Greek sweet and savoury foods, and of course Chocolique will have chocolate, what else do you need at Easter? Apparently a deluxe Easter egg mocha, a collaboration between Chocolique and Jelly.PortElliot, it does sound pretty amazing.

I did hear a rumour about De from Calico Cakes and an Easter Bunny costume? Perhaps check out her stall for her wonderful range of cakes and cupcakes, and maybe the little ones might find a tiny Easter egg there.

Our other stallholders will be Virgara’s Garden, Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, Healing Harvest Farm, Riverland Fresh Fruit, VICTORFISH, Basket Range Baker, Unique Cheeses, Garden candy and Studio Goolwa.

Our musician will be Dean Bird.

8.00am till 12.30pm, see you there.

Stock up on your bagels tomorrow, they are then off traveling for 6 weeks!

These two from Hey Bagels are off gallivanting next week, so you need to stock up on your bagels and bread tomorrow, they won’t be back for 6 weeks! We wish them happy travels.

We’ll still have the Basket Range Baker for sourdough over that time, and tomorrow. Bona and Angie at H Kouzina Mas will be back with us tomorrow, good to have those yummy savoury Greek packs, and delicious sweet Greek cakes. And Sarah will be back, Healing Harvest Farm, so eggs again, Yay.

We’ll also have Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, Virgara’s Garden, Calico Cakes, Chocolique, Jelly. Port Elliot including Fleurieu Milk Company products, VICTORFISH and Garden candy.

Our Musician will be Garry Searle.

8.00am till 12.30pm, dress for a bit of a chill in the air.

New stallholders Peter and Sophie from Riverland Fresh Fruit. Fantastic morning!

Fantastic morning, so many stallholders!

Peter and Sophie at their Riverland Fresh Fruit stall have reorganised for a better, easier presentation for customers. Looking good.

And that’s not Dean Bird in the Rotunda, change of plans, and Garry Searle to the rescue, what a trooper he is.

The Membership/Information stand won’t be manned this week, John will be back next week.

So much great produce this morning, see you soon.

Luscious strawberries @ Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries & Kimchi Club’s yum sauces!

Luscious, sweet, juicy, tasty, healthy. Any other words to describe these strawberries? The new crop now coming in and looking perfect at Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, available tomorrow.

Minka, Kimchi Club will be with us tomorrow. I tried this BBQ Bulgogi sauce in a recipe I found for Korean Bulgogi Beef, yummy (the mild one, I’m a wimp).

We’ll also have Anna’s Homestyle Baking, Riverland Fresh Fruit and Unique Cheeses.

No Health by Flora or H Kouzina Mas, but the SACWA Victor Harbor Evening Branch will be in Bona’s normal position, exciting.

Our regular stallholders will be Calico Cakes, Virgara’s Garden, Chocolique, VICTORFISH, Jelly. Port Elliot including Fleurieu Milk Company products, the Basket Range Baker, Hey Bagels, Healing Harvest Farm, Studio Goolwa and Garden candy.

Our Musician will be Dean Bird.

8.00am till 12.30pm, weather is looking good.

Visit George’s Folly Wines this Saturday & Chocolique early for your chocolate fix!

Could be a warm one later on tomorrow morning. Kate from Chocolique will be there, but may have to leave if it is too warm for her chocolate, so perhaps see her early? I will be.

Jodie will be with us tomorrow, from George’s Folly Wines. The weather could be just right right for some wine tasting and buying.

Kate and Dave from Hey Bagels will be back, the Basket Range Baker will have sourdough apple bread, sounds interesting.

.

We’ll also have Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries, Calico Cakes, Virgara’s Garden, H Kouzina Mas, Jelly.PortElliot including Fleurieu Milk Company products, Healing Harvest Farm, VICTORFISH and Garden candy.

Remember Health by Flora are having a holiday.

Our musician will be Maggie O’Moore.

8.00am till 12.30pm, see you there.

We have Peter and Sophie, Riverland Fresh Fruit starting this long weekend Sat market!

A long weekend ahead of us, pretty good weather, a market packed with stallholders, what more could you want.

We have Peter and Sophie, Riverland Fresh Fruit starting. They’ll be with us on the second, fourth and fifth Saturday of each month.

Felicity, Basket Range Baker took that fantastic photo at last week’s market. They’ll be back tomorrow, as will Hey Bagels, with theIr brilliant Bagels, and sourdough breads.

As it’s the second Saturday of the month, we’ll have Shawn from Kangaroo Island Living Honey with us. Also Minka, Kimchi Club.

Specialty cakes will be Calico Cakes and Anna’s Homestyle Baking.

Francesco, Virgara’s Garden will have his huge veggie range.

Gina’s Kitchen & Field Berries has veggies, fruit, sweet and savoury baked produce, condiments and cordials.

Jelly.PortElliot including Fleurieu Milk Company products also have veggies, condiments, hot pies, pasties and sausage rolls and the all important coffee.

H Kouzina Mas have their wonderful range of Greek savoury meals, so handy for during the week. Their sweet packs are delicious too.

Healing Harvest Farm eggs are so popular, make sure to get there early.

VICTORFISH always has seafood that is full of flavour.

Health by Flora Kate and Olivia’s range of gut healthy foods and drinks really need to be explored in detail, and they are on holidays for 3 weeks after tomorrow, so stock up!

We are so lucky to have chocolate of the quality of Chocolique at our market. And so reasonably priced. Strong willpower can be needed each week.

Mark has such a great range of herbs, seedlings and succulents at Garden candy. It’s a pity that succulents seem to have gone out of fashion, they are such hardy plants for tucking in to difficult spots in gardens.

Jill and Stewart will be at Studio Goolwa too.

Jessi Jasmine & Luke Music will be our Musicians.

8.00am till 12.30pm, I think you’ll agree it will be a good market.

Some photos from this morning’s presentation to Con and Harry, last market day.

Some photos from this morning’s presentation to Con and Harry.

De had canvassed a few people, and had some anecdotes, then Brent spoke of his memories of the last 14 plus years. John and myself presented Con and Harry with Life Membership Cards of the market (making sure they’ll be back to visit), then De gave them each a beautiful watercolour painting of Petrel Cove, by one of our long time members, Annette Vandenberg. I think more than a few tears may have been shed.

Then at the end of the morning, the last walk around and last wave.

We all do wish them both so well in their retirement, Con and Harry Fresh Fruit.
